Founder and Vice President of Springs of LIfe
Cliff Branam
Cliff Branam is the founder of Springs of Life Foundation and Solid Grounds Coffee Shop, as well as the Executive Director of the Springs of Life Recovery Center. Since 2014, Cliff has been dedicated to rescuing men, restoring families, and rebuilding communities in East Tennessee. Under his leadership, the recovery center provides a free Christ-centered discipleship program for men battling addiction, while Solid Grounds serves as a hub for next-generation ministry, engaging local high school and college students.
Driven by the power of the Gospel, Cliff places great focus on addressing the needs of marginalized fathers and improving the quality of life in distressed communities. Cliff’s work embodies a commitment to building life-giving sources of hope and transformation in the areas he serves. Cliff and his wife, Allison, have three children, ranging in age from 22 to 4.
President and CEO of UBank
Allen McClary
President and CEO of UBank in Jellico, Tennessee. Allen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1982. He also graduated from the LSU Graduate School of Banking in 1990. Allen currently serves on the boards of Jellico Community Hospital, Dayspring Family Health Centers, Seeds of Hope Food Pantry and Springs of Life Recovery Center. Allen also served on the Jellico City Council for 11 years and the Jellico Planning Commission for 3 years. He also previously served on the board of the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce. Allen has seen first-hand the destructive nature of drug addiction in the Jellico community and is passionate in assisting Springs of Life in providing a forum where the power of Jesus Christ can change lives.

Derek Brown
Program Director for Planned Systems International, Derek has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from King University and holds an MBA from the University of the Cumberlands. Derek has served on the board of Springs of Life Recovery Center from the beginnings. Previously, Derek served as Ministry Leader of Celebrate Recovery for 10 years in Jellico, TN. Derek has a passion for ministry in the region due to God’s redemption in his own life and is wanting others to experience the same. Derek and his wife have both struggled with addiction in the past and God rescued them both from the same struggles that are ongoing in the current community.
Vice President of pyro shows
Michael Walden
Michael Walden is the Vice President of Pyro Shows, Inc. Located in LaFollette, Tennessee. In addition to his leadership role at Pyro Shows, Inc., Mr. Walden was named President of Pyro Shows of Texas in 2013 and Vice President of Pyro Shows of Alabama in 2016. Michael graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Biology, and Chemistry. Michael currently serves on the boards of Springs of Life, LaFollette Medical Foundation and the Campbell County High School Relief Fund. Michael enjoys leading a weekly bible study at Springs of Life. Michael also plays a very active role in his home church, New Life Ministry Center, Jacksboro.
